Pre-Professional Jazz & Musical Theatre Training
Half- Day or After School Program
(10yrs. – 18yrs.)

The Pre-Professional Jazz & Musical Theatre Training Division is offered in two different full time training options, the half day school program and the after school program. Both programs are designed for students who wish to train at a Pre-Professional level with the aspiration for a career in Jazz and/or Musical Theatre.

Pre-Professional Jazz & Musical Theatre Training programs are tailored to the individual needs of the student. Associate students are guided and monitored technically and artistically by a qualified teacher focusing on their individual training needs and goals.

Half- Day Program (10yrs. – 18yrs.)

Pre-Professional Jazz & Musical Theatre Training with the specific focus on a career in Jazz and/or Musical Theatre. Students participate in half day school and a half day dance program outlined below:

2:15-3:15 Stage Repertoire
3:45-4:45 Contemporary

Wednesday
1:00-2:15 Ballet Tech.
2:15-3:15 Choreography
3:45-4:45 Lyrical/Hip Hop

Thursday
1:00-2:15 RAD Ballet
2:15-3:15 Conditioning
3:45-4:45 Jazz

Friday
2:30-3:30 Conditioning
3:45-5:45 Youth Ballet Theatre Company

Saturday
10:00-12:00 Ballet Tech. / Repertoire

Pre-Professional Jazz & Musical Theatre Training

After School Program (10yrs. – 18yrs.)

Pre-Professional Jazz & Musical Theatre Training with the specific focus on a career in Jazz and/or Musical Theatre. Students design an individual after school time training program based on the below:

Core classes include: Jazz Technique, Contemporary Technique, Lyrical Jazz, Musical Theatre, Royal Academy of Dance Ballet.

Option classes (two per week): Lyrical Jazz, Choreography, Create,Record,Perform!, Conditioning, Hip Hop, Singing.

Workshop Classes (continuous throughout the session): Stage Repertoire, Nutrition for Dancers, and Music for Dancers.

*All Associate students perform in the Youth Ballet Theatre Company
