Hilary Bourdon

(Classical Ballet)

Hilary's dance training is rooted in Classical Ballet from recognized professional companies such as the Alberta Ballet Co. Les Grands Ballet Canadiens, and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet where she danced Ballet repertoire such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Fernand Noults’ ‘Carmina Burrana’ and Ballanchines, ‘Conerto Barrocco”   Hilary also has danced extensively as a Modern Dancer, initially at Grant McEwan College, and later at York University and Toronto Dance Theatre. Her Modern Dance training includes Graham technique, Lamonde, and other dance forms such as Cunningham and Release Techniques.    As a Modern Dancer, Hilary has worked with influential Canadian Modern Dance pioneers such as David Earle, Patricia Beaty, Maria Formolo, Jean Louis Morin, Pat Miner and Peggy Baker.
