Carmen has always loved teaching, and started way back when she was still a student at Perform Art Studios. She recently graduated from the iNdustry Dance Training Program of Vancouver with honorable achievement. While attending iNdustry, she trained with Heather Laura Gray, Edmond Kilpatrick, Justine Chambers, Hilary Bourdon, and Marc Generoso. She has trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, tap, and musical theatre. She has also trained in singing and acting for many years. Carmen had the privilege of working with Josh Beamish, Simone Orlando, Lara Barclay, and others at the MOVE: the company summer intensive in July 2011. Carmen is the newest dance company member of Give Me Brilliance, a Vancouver based Contemporary dance company.
