1. What makes Perform Art Studios unique?
Small Class Sizes, Individual Attention and Quality Training! With maximum class sizes of 8, we spend the most teacher time with our students than any other studio on the North Shore!

2. Is it important to have a qualified and registered Ballet teacher?
Yes, Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) registered teachers are trained and examined through the Royal Academy of Dance, an internationally recognized Ballet training organization in London, England. Teacher training includes detailed syllabus study, teaching styles, child development, anatomy etc.

Unlike most schools, our registration is ongoing throughout the year!

4. I am considering changing dance schools, how can I make this transition easy?
1. You are welcome to try any class you are interested in.
2. We will briefly assess your level to ensure that you are placed in the appropriate level as standards vary from school to school.
3. We have open lines of communication between parents, students and teachers to make you feel comfortable and to answer any questions you may have.
4. There is no registration fee if you are transferring schools!

5. How young can a child begin dance?
We offer our Preschool Ballet and Dance program as well as our unique First stART program for girls and boys as young as 3 years old.

6. How late can a child begin to learn?
It's never too late. Our experienced instructors and educators can shave years off the learning curve often showing remarkable progress within the first few months.

7. What types of dance do you teach?
Our Ballet instruction includes Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) Ballet, Pointe, and Non-syllabus Ballet. We also teach general dance styles including Jazz, I.S.T.D., Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre at all levels from beginner to professional. We also teach adult dance as a fun alternative to conventional exercise classes.

8. Do you teach any performing arts other than dance?
Yes, we offer many other performing arts instruction including acting, singing, and choreography. We are also very exited to be one of the few performing arts schools to offer classes in digital music composition and performance.
